Adrian began Financial Planning in 1988 with Commercial Union (now AVIVA). After 2½ years he continued this career with Eagle Star (now Zurich), gaining experience and training in all forms of personal and business financial planning. He undertook professional qualifications and achieved the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate in 1993. In 1996 Adrian took up his initial role as an ‘independent’ financial adviser in a prominent Leicester based firm. As one of 6 advisers in this firm, valuable experience was gained, and further professional qualifications were achieved in specialist areas of financial planning. In September 2001, Adrian settled in Pembrokeshire, and formed Adrian Cox Asset Management. During this period he has focussed on delivering a genuine and rewarding service to his existing clients, and accommodating occasional new clients. Adrian became affiliated at diploma level with the ‘Institute of Financial Planning’ (now the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment – CISI), and the ‘Personal Finance Society’. He has continued to upgrade his professional status attaining the highly regarded ‘Chartered Financial Planner’ Award in 2007.

Adrian lives with his Scottish wife, a retired Consultant Paediatric Radiologist, with whom he has 3 adult children. Away from work, Adrian has a serious passion for windsurfing, loves snowboarding and alpine activities, and enjoys sailing with his ‘skipper’ wife.
